ABOUT THE PROJECT

Finding the right guitar pickup can often be a pretty daunting task, especially when you happen to be playing a goofy looking French style acoustic guitar. Guitar pickups are often overpriced considering the value of the electronic components they contain. The solution, design my own pickup. La Java is a custom made piezo-driven pickup which clips on to the guitar's shoulder pin and slides underneath the bridge. No fancy technology other than a piezo transducer, input jack, and a volume knob. Completely designed, printed, and wired at home.
