BredBoard
ABOUT THE PROJECT
The BredBoard is an electric skateboard I designed and fabricated to use as an easy way to get around town (turns out it's pretty scary). BredBoard is constructed from layers of milled Baltic birch plywood. It is operated using a remote control with a custom designed enclosure and is driven by a brushless DC motor and the open source VESC controller. BredBoard weighs approximately 12 pounds, reaches a top speed of 15 mph and can travel 7 miles on a single charge.
