ABOUT THE PROJECT:
The Ambassador is a human-tracking, payload-carrying, differential robot. It uses the Microsoft Kinect 2 sensor to identify, track and follow a user. The robot uses 2 individually controlled electric wheelchair motors, capable of carrying a payload of 300 pounds. A Processing sketch powers the robot using the Kinect PV2 and OpenCV libraries as the main workhorses. Additionally, two 12V motorcycle batteries were used to power an Intel NUC PC and all onboard hardware.
